1.
Sometimes I don´t know where to put my hands Say nothing Watching them wither Skinny roses and all About four years from now two stars will collide (I remember how you lied) they will light up the sky and become the brightest object anyone has ever seen About four years from now our bodies will align (against the leaning skyline) they will have us wonder why and condone the brightest love we ever could have seen Spinning faster and faster in a dance of death We are the stars or at least we wish we could have been
2.
Put your worn heart and put it into your sleeve. Take it out whenever you need. Make yourself free from all the troubles you left behind, just to be yourself for just this once. When your family cries, when your mother dies. Then you think about what’s life. Break it up in two, break it up into something new. That you know you belong to. That you now that you can go back to. You just want to break free from everyone around you, I know. You deserve it, because you are all that I need to be around for every year. And I know that we could be the same as ever before.
3.
I can’t seem to remember how you laughed at yourself. I can’t seem to remember how you layed there. I can’t seem to remember how you did it all on your own. Good news: You are engaged, but the cakes are burnt now. When they asked us what we were doing here, we pushed ourselves to look Do you believe in yourself or miracles or Santa Claus or kissing on the first date? On the first date ever, on the first day ever. Shape yourself into a key and push it through. Stop searching, you know you'll end up here.
4.
Rain falls Between my two hands Your face, the night we drove our bikes into the morning light. recollections of wounds patched up by some other kids mom. we swam in lakes, made chairs into trains. trains into planes. flew over beds and dirty toys. the window sills where we sat, dreamt of better times. behind the ugly curtains we hid when we cried. where are you now? still the same? today is my day where are you now? are you still the same? are we still friends? if you could leave again would you do it if you could? if you could leave again would you do it if you could? if you could leave again would you do it if you could?
5.
have you found the words to keep yourself alone? found the friends to keep yourself unknown? locked up anywhere where no one finds you leaving all intimacy behind i listened to the words you never dared to say you know denial is just the easy way think of all the time we spent memories and what they meant have they meant anything at all to you? hello goodbye doesn’t seem to make a difference tonight
so this just your way of getting through something we have never been into? if this just your way of getting through something we have never been into
hello goodbye doesn’t make a difference tonight
6.
green lights passing me on/off spotlight like a candle, flickering through the trees you didn’t even leave you didn’t leave a scar. i’m sorry). obviously... i don’t understand half the words you say i don’t have the words the words you want to hear i don’t have what you want not that i care

if i can be myself without you if i can be myself again so i take one last look at the stars before it starts to rain assuage myself with thoughts that you might look upon the same sitting in the darkness watching hours fade you can’t fail without a word to say i close my eyes there’s nothing left to find
7.
all washed out this time colors in the night our portraits, black and white like dreamy butterflies beautiful and calm heading for the light and anything i see is that postcard-sized life growing on concrete a world that has sold its soul to one size fits all and training wheels who am i to say? who are you to judge? ungrateful our individuality roles set opportunities unavoidable and i’ve already signed that script you planted in my fertile mind what more can i want? what more can i ask for? i have it all. all you let me have. is anything i am that two-dimensional shape you see? what more can i want? what more can i ask for? i don’t want it all.
